A HIGH ACADEMIC STANDARD
The academic program at Alphonsa School places an emphasis on every aspect of our student’s growth and development. We take advantage of the natural curiosity students possess by having our teachers present new information in creative ways and teach through exploratory experiences.
Our I.C.S.E curriculum includes a variety of challenging courses that meet or exceed state requirements. Suitable class sizes and exceptional, qualified teachers allow Alphonsa School to offer an intimate and inclusive educational environment, while also ensuring each student receives the individualized attention and support they need.
EXAMINATION & PROMOTION
Define Your Future
There will be two examinations in a year i.e Half Yearly and Final. The pass marks is 40%.
No pupil will be promoted to the next class before the end of the school year.
Promotion is given on the basis of the whole year's work and not merely on marks scored in the final examinations.
Class work and home work are also assessed and rewarded.
There shall be neither re-test nor re-exam.
The result declared at the end of the year is final and cannot be reconsidered. In all question of promotion and failure the principal's decision is final.
If the pupil does not pass in all the subjects any concession that he/she may enjoy is cancelled.
Each student is required to be present for 90% of school days as a pre-condition for promotion.
All fees and dues for every term must be cleared in full before the beginning of the terminal examinations., If not the pupil will not be allowed to sit for the examination nor their report cards will be given.
